As we come towards the end of the season there are a number of loan players that AC Milan are gearing up to welcome back, a report has highlighted.

According to Calciomercato.com, the exception is Rade Krunic who will join Fenerbahce on a permanent deal for around €3m because the conditions of the obligation to buy clause have been met.

Divock Origi: His return to the Premier League was a flop. Nottingham Forest stayed up but he played just 754 minutes scoring zero goals in the league and one in the FA Cup against Bristol City. In June he will return to Milan, with whom he has a contract until 2026 worth €4m net per season.

Fode Ballo-Toure: The 27-year-old Senegalese full-back played just eight times at Fulham, with 224 minutes accrued and just two starts. He hasn’t played for months and will return to Milan, with whom he has a contract expiring in 2025.

Marko Lazetic: The Serbian striker continues to fail to take advantage of loan opportunities. After the disappointing spell in Austria at Altach, he also did badly in the Netherlands at Fortuna Sittard, where he only played nine times, for a total of 176 minutes and no goals. His deal at Milan runs until 2026.

Marco Pellegrino: The 21-year-old Argentine defender was loaned to Salernitana, with whom he played nine times in Serie A, but they suffered relegation. He will return to Milan, with whom he has a contract until 2028.

Daniel Maldini: First loaned Empoli, then to Monza, the attacking midfielder has played 18 times in Serie A this year, scoring four goals. Galliani wants him permanently for around €4m, with little chance of seeing him back with the Rossoneri in the summer.
